Charleston man shot Monday night, no suspects at this time

Police are investigating a shooting that happened late Monday night in Charleston, Missouri.

The Charleston Department of Public Service says they responded to a call of gunshots near the intersection of Heggie and Lafayette Streets just before midnight.

Officers found a 20-year-old Charleston man who had been shot. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His wounds are not life-threatening.

So far there are no suspects in the shooting and no arrests have been made.
