Seizure most likely cause for early morning crash

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department says a seizure is likely to blame for a single-vehicle crash Friday morning.

Deputies were called to the 8900 block of Blandville Road just before 4:30 a.m. on reports of a driver trapped in an overturned truck.

An investigation shows that 37-year-old David Christian was driving his truck eastbound on the road when he drove down a ditch, hit a driveway, and flipped his truck which landed back on the road.

It appeared that a seizure caused the accident.

Christian had several non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

The road was closed for about one and a half hours.
