Be On The Lookout: Police searching for robbery suspects

In this week’s Be On The Lookout police need your help finding two suspects in a robbery investigation.

It happened in the 300 block of South Illinois Avenue in Carbondale, in an alley behind a business. Police took the report on May 3.

The victim says they were standing in that alley around 4 p.m. when two unknown suspects approached them. They beat the victim and stole personal property. The victim was not seriously injured.

Those suspects are still out there. Both are described as black men. The first was about 35 years old, 5 feet 9 inches  tall, 150 pounds., with short black hair, wearing a white t-shirt and jeans. There’s less information on the second suspect. He’s described as 6 feet tall and about 180 pounds.
