Authorities looking for wanted man in Illinois

 The Williamson County, Illinois, sheriff’s office is asking the public’s help finding a wanted man. 

The man, 32-year-old William Scott Skelton, has an active warrant for armed robbery, and his bond is set at $100,000. He’s a white, stands about 6 feet all and weighs about 195 pounds. The sheriff’s office says Skelton should be considered armed and dangerous. 

If you have information on Skelton’s whereabouts, you can call the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office at 618-997-6541, or Crimestoppers at 1-800-414-TIPS, by online message here, or by texting “quicktip” followed by the information to CRIMES (274637). 

The sheriff’s office notes that you don’t have to give your name or phone number in a Crimestoppers tip, you can remain anonymous, and receive a tip number for identification. Information leading to an arrest may result in a $1,000 award.
