Man shot at park in Cape Girardeau, suspect arrested

A man is being treated for non-life threatening injuries after he was shot Sunday night in Cape Girardeau.

The Cape Girardeau Police Department says the shooting happened around 6:15 p.m. in Ranney Park.

The victim was shot in his lower abdomen and leg.

23-year-old Dante Criddle was arrested and charged with felony assault and armed criminal action. He is being held on a $150,000 bond.

Police are not looking for any other suspects.
