Railroad crossing in Hopkins County to close for upgrade

A railroad crossing will be closed Monday morning in Hopkins County.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the railroad crossing is on KY 1337/Earlington Road in the Richland community between KY 70 and KY 879.

The crossing will close at 8:30 a.m. and work should be done sometime Wednesday afternoon.

P&L Railroad will be upgrading the crossing.

There will be no marked detour. Drivers may self detour via Bradley Sisk Road.
