Help Wanted: Assisted living careers and other local job openings

In this week’s Help Wanted we’re highlighting a variety of openings in several fields, including assisted living.

1.) Business Office Manager – Superior Care Home in Paducah: This is a full time position. To learn more and to apply for this job, which does require accounting experience, click here.

2.) Housekeeper – Emeritus at Paducah  in Paducah: You need a high school diploma for this full time job. A year of housekeeping experience and experience working with Alzheimer’s and dementia patients is a plus. To learn more and to apply, click here

The Kentucky Career Center in Paducah has several hiring events ahead, and companies with job openings.

1.) From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 3 at the Paducah Career Center: Trinity Marine will be hiring fiberglass rollers and fiberglass trimmers.

2.) On June 4 there are two sessions: From 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., then at 3 p.m. at the Paducah Career Center: Harper Construction will be hiring millwrights and laundry techs.

3.) From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 5, at the Paducah Career Center: Wise Staffing is looking for general labors, sand blasters, production workers, warehouse workers and stick welders.

The Kentucky Career Center also passed along the following list of positions with Lafarge in Joppa, Illinois. The deadline to apply for these jobs is Tuesday, June 3:
