Olivet Church Road construction project begins Monday

Construction on Olivet Church Road will begin Monday.  Drivers won’t be able to travel north from New Holt Road straight into the Kentucky Oaks Mall.

Barricades will be up to block the mall access road between Chuck E. Cheese’s and Red Lobster, and the traffic signal at U.S. 60 and New Holt Road will be reconfigured. Drivers will be able to turn either left or right but won’t be allowed to go straight through the intersection.

Traffic will be able to cross the connector road in a designated spot by the Sears parking lot.

The construction is part of the Olivet Church Road Improvement Project, which is a 400 calendar-day project.
