Land Between the Lakes plans ‘public listening session’

The U.S. Forest Service at Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area will hold a public meeting next week for folks to share their ideas, concerns and other thoughts on LBL.

The Forest Service says the session will be held from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on June 11 at the Kentucky Dam Village Convention Center in Gilbertsville.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service leadership team that manages LBL will be on hand for what the Forest Service calls a “public listening session.”

Kentucky Dam Village Convention Center is just south of LBL’s main lodge on U.S. Highway 641. For directions to the convention center, you can call 270-362-4271 or, toll free, 800-325-0146.
