SIU chancellor finalists will meet board Wednesday

Two finalists for Southern Illinois University’s chancellor opening will meet with university trustees on Wednesday, June 3.

The candidate chosen will replace Paul Sarvela, who passed away last year.

The university said the finalists are Sabah U. Randhawa, executive vice president and provost at Oregon State University and Susan M. Ford, acting provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at SIU.

Randhawa and Ford were among four candidates who previously interviewed for the position at the university’s campus.
