Judge to retire

Circuit Judge Dennis Foust, who serves Marshall and Calloway counties in the 42nd Judicial Circuit Court, says he plans to announce his retirement Friday.

The Tribune-Courier reports Foust said he will serve his last official day on July 16, but will be available as needed until an election for his replacement is held in November.

Foust was originally appointed to the position in 1997. Before that, he was a district judge in Marshall County for seven years.
