Local hospital to hold public focus groups
Murray-Calloway County Hospital has announced it’s hosting focus groups in June to get folks’ opinions on community health care in the region.
The focus groups will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, and Thursday, June 25 in the MCCH Board Room, which is near the hospital’s north tower entrance on Poplar Street.
“We are interested in the community’s honest impression of our hospital and healthcare services – what works and what doesn’t work,” MCCH CEO Jerry Penner said in a news release sent Thursday.
The hospital noted that the identities of members of the public who offer their thoughts in the focus groups won’t be shared publicly, and anyone in the community can take part. A light breakfast will be served as well.
If you want to attend, the hospital asks you to RSVP on Melony Bray by calling 270-762-1381 or emailing MBray@murrayhospital.org. You can also contact her for more information on the sessions.
