Friday night crash kills west Kentucky man

Kentucky State Police is investigating a single vehicle, deadly crash that occurred on US 60 about a mile east of Marion Friday night.

KSP says Dexter Derr, 58 of Sturgis, was operating a 2006 Mercedes passenger car eastbound on US 60 when for unknown reasons it ran off the right side of the road hitting a culvert causing it to overturn.

The Crittenden County coroner pronounced Derr dead at the scene.  He was not wearing a seat belt.
