Portion of road in Paducah to be closed Monday night

A section of road will be closed Monday night in Paducah.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says one lane of outbound traffic on Kentucky Avenue between Walter Jetton Boulevard and 16th Street will be closed starting at 6:00 p.m.

The closure is needed so that Atmos Energy can connect gas lines that will cross underneath the road.

The section of road is expected to reopen to traffic at 6:00 a.m. the next day.
