Miners baseball players to teach kids how to play baseball at free camp

Kids and their dads can take part in a free baseball camp on Saturday.

The University Mall in Carbondale, Illinois, has teamed up with the Southern Illinois Miners to offer Miner’s Day with Dad Baseball Camp on June 13.

Children ages 6-13 and their fathers or father figures will learn the fundamentals of the game from Southern Illinois Miners Baseball players.

The free event will be held from 10:00 a.m. – Noon at the AMC Theatre parking lot.
