Boy flown to Vanderbilt after an ATV accident

Trigg County emergency rescue crews respond to several accidents in Turkey Bay Saturday.

Trigg County Public Information Officer James Flood says the first accident involved a 15-year-old boy. The boy was flown to Vanderbilt after being injured in an ATV accident.

Flood says before responders left Turkey Bay they were called to help a 59-year-old man who was injured but refused to be taken to a hospital.

Flood says as the emergency responders were almost back to their posts they were called to come back to a flipped jeep accident. No one was injured.

About two hours later, Flood says a sailboat with people on board flipped over in Crooked Creek. No one was hurt.
