U.S. Department of Energy awards PGDP contract to Kevil company

The U.S. Department of Energy awarded of a contract to a Kevil company for infrastructure support services at the former Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant site.

The company, Swift & Staley, Inc., was chosen out of five companies that submitted proposals for the project.

In a news release sent Wednesday, the DOE said the services to be provided under this contract include surveillance, maintenance and repair of facilities; janitorial services; grounds maintenance, snow removal, and pest control; roadway/parking lot maintenance; computing, telecommunication, and cyber security; fleet management; real and personal property management; records management and document control; safeguards and security; environment, safety, health and quality program; and training services.
