Illinois man sentenced to prison for robbing nursing home

A judge sentenced a man to 10 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to robbing a local nursing home.

The Union County Sheriff’s Attorney says Adam Trax pleaded guilty to one count of armed robbery.

The Sheriff’s Office says Trax entered the Jonesboro Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in June of 2013 and left with $900,000 worth of prescription drugs after threatening employees with an knife.
