Black Diamond concerts to go on despite predicted wet weather

A southern Illinois town is expected to grow by about 40,000 people this weekend.

Black Diamond Harley Davidson in Murphysboro will play host to Jamey Johnson and Eric Church.

Friday night, you can see headliner Jamey Johnson along with four opening bands. The gates open at 4:00 p.m.

Eric Church will play Saturday night. Gates again open at 4:00 p.m.

The “Outsiders World Tour” features songs for more than two hours.

Many people are worried that the concerts will be canceled because of storms coming into the area by what’s left of Tropical Storm Bill.

Black Diamond Harley Davidson Shad Zimbro tells us they’ve taken steps to ensure the shows will go on.

For more about the concerts, you can visit the Black Diamond Harley Davidson website.
