Community shred day being held in Benton, Illinois

There will be a community shred day in southern Illinois this weekend.

On Saturday, June 20, people can bring their sensitive documents to Benton to be safely disposed of.

There is a limit of two boxes per person and any paper clips, staples, or other bindings should be removed.

The shred day will be held from 9:00 a.m. – Noon at the City of Benton parking lot located at 104 East Washington Street. That is on the corner of Washington and Commercial Street.

The event is being hosted by State Representative John Bradley and State Senator Gary Forby.
