Police: Man arrested for breaking into sheds, stealing

Officers with the Miner Police Department arrested and charged 57 year-old Robert West of Kennett, Missouri with felony stealing, possession of burglary tools and trespassing.

After a series of storage shed break-ins, the property owner of 406 AA Highway (AA Mini storage) saw West on the property. It appeared West was cutting locks and stealing items from storage lockers.

An officer observed West in his vehicle as he was attempting to flee.  He was arrested and during the investigation and inventory search, several stolen items were recovered, including two computers, a monitor and other household items.
