One injured in three vehicle crash in Reidland

A three vehicle crash sent one person to the hospital Thursday night.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department says the crash was at the intersection of Reidland Road and Highway 60, also known as Ashland Drive, in Reidland.

Troopers say 26-year-old Andrew Sharp of Paducah was driving west on Reidland Road when he failed to stop at a traffic light and hit a car being driven by 25-year-old Talyn Scarbrough of Salem.

The crash caused Scarbrough’s car to hit a SUV driven by Richard Fulton of Paducah.

Scarbrough had just started to drive across the intersection when he was hit on the passenger side. A passenger in Scarbrough’s car had to be extracted from the car by mechanical means. She was taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
