Zack Pittman’s latest surgery a success

Zack Pittman is resting comfortably after what his mother says was a successful surgery.

Doctors re-attached his skull. Part of it was removed last month to allow for brain swelling.

Zack was the 11-year-old boy hit by a car last month while heading home from school.

Doctors plan to move Zack from Kosair Children’s Hospital to Fraiser Rehab as soon as he recovers from surgery.
