Public asked to lend a hand to artwork project

The Paducah Police Department, Paducah Parks Department, and Stacey Allgood of the Better Than Ever Paint & Create are hoping you'll take part in a a special project on the 4th of July.

The three groups are joining together to host an art project called "United We HAND, United We Stand."

You can take part in the project by leaving your handprint.

Eight stations will be put up along 2nd Street and Broadway in Paducah from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.

After 8:00 p.m., all eight pieces will be put together and the full artwork will be displayed.

Everyone is encouraged to come and lend a hand to the project.
