Paducah woman charged with burglary

A Paducah woman was arrested Monday and charged with burglary, according to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department. 

The woman, 34-year-old Tiffany S. Williams, is accused of burglarizing a home on Oaks Road on July 2. 

The sheriff's department reports that the victim told deputies a small, fireproof safe containing medication, several hundred dollars, jewelry, and other important documents were taken from the home. A witness told the department Williams was seen removing an object from the home and driving a vehicle away from the scene around the time the incident.

On Monday, the sheriff's department was on the lookout for Williams, and a deputy stopped her in a traffic stop around 3:30 p.m. She was taken to the sheriff's department and interviewed before she was charged with second degree burglary and jailed in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
