Storms knock out power Tuesday morning

Some Paducah residents lost power this morning due to the storms that hit the area.

Paducah Power says lightning hit transmission lines at a substation around 5:30 a.m. The lightning strike knocked out power for about an hour for customers near the substation.

Other than the outage, the power company is responding to a couple minor reports such as trees on lines.
