Official: Failed drug test reason shooter not hired at Ohio nuclear power plant

The search for clues into the Kuwaiti-born Tennessee gunman who killed four marines now involves a deep look at his online activities and foreign travel.

A U.S. official says Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez was in Jordan last year for several months.

Abdulazeez did not appear to have been on federal authorities radar before the bloodshed Thursday. People who knew him say they're shocked and described him as a normal person.

A federal official says Abdulazeez was not hired for a job at an Ohio nuclear power plant two years ago because he failed a drug test.
