Woman falls out of moving car, gets run over

A woman fell out of a moving car and was run over by the rear tires, according to Graves County deputies.

On Saturday, deputies were called to US 45 South in the Pryorsburg community and found 29 year-old Crystal Hutchinson had been run over.

Hutchinson was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 51 year-old Ricky Colley of Mayfield.  While Colley was driving, Hutchinson was leaning against the back passenger door.  For unknown reasons, the door came open.

Hutchinson fell from the vehicle and was then run over by the back wheels of the vehicle, causing serious injuries to her legs.  Mayfield/Graves County EMS responded to the scene and took Hutchinson to Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.  She was then air lifted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
