Body found in flood waters in Pemiscot County, Missouri

An investigation is underway after the body of a female was found floating in flood waters in Pemiscot County, Missouri Sunday night.

Sheriff Tommy Greenwall says the Sheriff's Office got a call around 7:00 p.m. of a van stuck in a bean field and a body floating in flood waters off County Road 553, just southwest of Caruthersville.

A white female was removed from the waters. She appeared to have been there for several days.
