Murray traffic signal being changed to improve safety

A traffic signal is being changed in Murray, Kentucky to improve safety.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says it is removing the flashing yellow arrow from the traffic signal at the intersection at US 641 and KY 80.

Turns will now be only on solid green arrows with all oncoming traffic stopped on red.

The change is a result of a traffic study and is expected to help improve safety at the intersection.
