Man bitten by snake at church service dies

A member of a Kentucky church has died after he was bitten by a snake during a service on Sunday.

John Brook was handling the snake when it bit him.

Brook refused medical treatment and went to his brother's house where he later died.

Friends say he died practicing his beliefs, which included the handling of snakes as a show of faith.

Last year, the pastor of another Kentucky church died after he was bitten by a snake.
