Two killed, two injured in West Frankfort shooting

West Frankfort police are investigating a deadly shooting.

On Tuesday, police were called to a home at 406 North Madison Street on reports of shots being fired.

When officers arrived, they were shot at. Witnesses told police that the man shooting at them was 32-year-old Harley Wilder, also known as Matthew Wilder.

Officers were able to get into the home and found two men dead. Another adult and a juvenile were taken to a hospital for gunshot wounds. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

The alleged shooter, Harley Wilder, was found dead at the scene with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

The coroner says 42-year-old Ray Adams was also found dead at the scene.

Autopsies are scheduled for Wednesday.

The investigation is ongoing.
