Anna man sentenced to 20 years for second degree murder

An Anna, Illinois man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison on second degree murder.

20-year-old Jessie Bell was convicted in the beating death of James Morrison of Anna.

Morrison was found on the ground outside his home and was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

A second suspect allegedly struck Morrison with a piece of lumber.

Bell was found guilty of second degree murder in May.
