Two arrested in connection to Weakly County burglary

Two men were arrested in connection to a burglary in Weakley County.

The Weakley County Sheriff's Department says they arrested 25-year-old Christopher Lane of Sharon, Tennessee, after finding items in his home that linked him to a July 21st break in.

Lane was charged with aggravated burglary, theft over $1,000, and violation of parole.

25-year-old Kody Kimble of Martin, Tennessee, was also arrested in connection to the same break in after he confessed to driving the car used in the break in and accepting money from Lane.

Kimble was charged with aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000.

Investigators are continuing to gather evidence on other people who helped hide Lane after he realized the stolen items were recovered from his home.
