Man wanted in connection to Murray death arrested in Tennessee

A man wanted in connection to the death of a Murray, Kentucky man has been arrested in Tennessee.

61-year-old Wallace Key was found deceased at Live Oak Apartments Monday evening.

Police since then have been looking for 28-year-old Jonathan Backer of Puryear, Tennessee.

According to the Henry County Sheriff's Office, Backer was found Tuesday night after a deputy saw a car matching the description of Backer's car.

With the help of Paris Police officers, they were able to stop the car on Highway 69 north near West Wood Street in Paris, Tennessee.

Backer was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from justice. His bond was set at $100,000 and he will appear in court on Thursday.
