Kentucky Corrections Officer Arrested On Drug Charges

A tip made to the Kentucky State Police led to an investigation at the Western Kentucky Correctional Complex in Lyon County Kentucky.  Kentucky State Police K9 Trooper Brad Ramsey and K9 Oscar conducted a search of a vehicle belonging to Correction’s Officer Geoffrey Nettesheim. 

Oscar alerted to the presence of illegal drugs in the vehicle. A search led to the discovery of four packages of marijuana and prescription drugs in the possession of a Correction’s Officer, Geoffrey Nettesheim, while on prison grounds.  Three packages of marijuana and an unknown white powder were also discovered at Nettesheim’s residence in Eddyville KY. 

Nettesheim was taken into custody and lodged at the Caldwell County Jail.  The investigation continues by Trooper First Class Lewie Dodd
