Court date set for youth pastor accused of inappropriate relationship with teenager

A court date is set for a former youth pastor accused of sending pornographic images to a 16-year-old member of Milburn Chapel and having an inappropriate relationship with her.

Michael Parsons' trial is set for March 3, 2016. The trial is expected to last for two days. The date is set for next year, pending DNA testing results.

Another member of the same church made a plea deal in June after he used an electronic device to procure a minor in a sexual performance.

Fredrick Daack accepted an offer from the commonwealth to serve 3 years in prison, followed by 5 years probation.

He must also register as a sex offender.

Daack will be sentenced September 14.
