Mayfield man charged with assaulting girlfriend

A Mayfield man was arrested and charged with assaulting his girlfriend.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office says they were called to the Jackson Purchase Medical Center Wednesday evening.

A woman said her boyfriend, 49-year-old David Pritchard, assaulted her.

She said he assaulted her after she changed a scheduled trip this weekend with him to spend time with her family.

The woman had a broken nose and a broken shoulder.

Pritchard was found at his home and arrested. He was taken to the Graves County Jail and is charged with assault.
