Carlisle County closure starting Tuesday

A section of Kentucky 1181 in Carlisle County will be closed on Tuesday, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

KYTC spokesman Keith Todd says KY 1181 will be closed immediately north of the U.S. 51 intersection, between U.S. 51 and Warren Dunn Road, to allow a cross drain to be replaced.

The closure is expected  to begin around 8 a.m. Tuesday. The section of road is expected to reopen to traffic by about 3 p.m. the same day.

There will be no marked detour.
