Detectives need your help identifying Cash Express robber

Police need your help in finding the man who robbed a Cash Express in Lone Oak on Thursday. A surveillance camera captured a picture of him.

Detectives say they are following up on leads, and they have sent evidence to the state crime lab that might help them in this investigation. This robbery happened in the afternoon in broad daylight on a busy street.

Detectives say a man, armed with a handgun, walked through that door while two employees were inside. No one was hurt, but investigators say the man bound the employees during the robbery. He was gone by the time law enforcement got there, and detectives say they have not identified him.

He's described as being between 25 and 30 years old and of medium build. On Thursday, he wore a blue and white bandanna over his face. He also had on a dark colored baseball cap with an unknown white logo on the front.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the McCracken County Sheriff's Department at 270-444-4719. Information can also be provided to Crime Stoppers at 270-443-TELL. Information leading to the identity and arrest of the individual/s involved can be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
