Florida teen died in Friday I-24 wreck
UPDATE: Paducah Police confirms Jaleel Beirsay, 18, from Orlando, died in the wreck.
The preliminary investigation shows Tracy Ann Harrison was driving a minivan west on the interstate when the vehicle ran off the right shoulder of the road and Harrison over-corrected, causing the van to roll several times before coming to a stop in the middle of the road.
Several of the passengers, including Beirsay, were ejected from the minivan. Paducah Police say Beirsay is Harrison's son.
Also injured in the wreck were Harrison and her other three children: Alexandria Myers, 10; Travion Harrison, 4; and Andreanna Myers, 13; and Trisha Nelson, 31, and her two children: Satonya Thomas, 11; and Garsha Thomas, 15. They all are residents of Orlando.
The eight were taken to Lourdes Hospital and Baptist Health Paducah. Harrison and two of her children and one of the Thomas children were transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Nelson and the other child were treated locally and released. The Paducah Police Department's Collision Reconstruction Team is reconstructing the wreck.
