Planned power outage Saturday in parts of Fulton County

There is a planned power outage this weekend for some customers of the Hickman-Fulton Counties Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation.

The planned power outage will begin at 11:30 p.m. Saturday and could last up to four hours.

The outage will affect customers in Fulton County, south of Highway 239 and Highway 1127 intersection towards Cayce and Highway 94 east of Cayce to Highway 781 south to the Tennessee State Line.

The outage is needed for the Tennessee Valley Authority to upgrade two switches.
