Pastor on leave amid child pornography investigation
The Archdiocese of Louisville says a local pastor has been placed on administrative leave amid an investigation into child pornography.
The Courier-Journal (http://cjky.it/1LfknmC) reports Father Stephen A. Pohl of St. Margaret Mary Parish was put on leave after the Archdiocese learned of the investigation.
Archdiocese spokeswoman Cecelia Price says a cyber-crimes task force is conducting the investigation.
Price didn't provide any other details, except that she's not aware of any other disciplinary issues involving Pohl, who was ordained in 1985 and has been at the parish since 2008.
Parishioners were to be notified over the weekend.
