Sheriff: Cash Express robbery suspect identified

McCracken County Sheriff Jon Hayden says detectives have identified a suspect in the armed robbery at the Cash Express in Lone Oak last Thursday.

Hayden says an arrest warrant is active charging 35-year-old Randall S. Curry of Paducah with first degree armed robbery, theft under $10,000, and tampering with physical evidence. Curray is formerly from the Louisville area, and Hayden says has a criminal record involving prior armed robbery, assault, wanton endangerment, drug trafficking, and other convictions. 

Curry is described as standing 5 feet, 9 inches, tall, weighing about 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Hayden says Curry is known to have been staying at Paducah area motels and primarily traveling via bicycle. 

The sheriff says Curry is believed to be armed with a semi-automatic pistol and should be considered armed and dangerous.
