Two sent to the hospital after early morning wreck

Two people were sent to the hospital Monday morning after getting into a wreck.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Departments says deputies were called to a wreck on US 60 in front of Sonic.

Deputies say 27-year-old Ashley Reed was waiting to turn left onto US 60 west from Sonic.

A line of traffic was stopped in the right lane of US 60 west and a driver motioned Reed to pull out.

Reed did not see another car being driving eastbound as she pulled out into traffic and the cars collided with each other.

Reed and the driver of the other car, 40-year-old Annalisa Lee, were taken to an area hospital.
