Vanilla Orange Balsamic Green Beans
Here's Artisan Kitchen's delicious recipe for Vanilla Orange Balsamic Green Beans.
1 pound Green Beans, Trimmed
½ cup red onion Julienne
1 Orange bell pepper Julienne
2 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Bean Paste
Zest & Juice of 1 Orange
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Heat olive oil in large skillet. Add green beans using tongs coat with the oil. Salt and pepper. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Add in the peppers and onions & continue to cook until tender-crisp. Add in the balsamic and the juice of the orange and continue to cook until a thicker sauce develops. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla bean paste and the orange zest. Adjust salt and pepper. Serve.
