Death investigation of four-year-old continues

The death investigation continues for a four-year-old found dead over the weekend in Williamson County.

The Herrin Police Department says Amir Fenner's body was found in a pond at Herrin City Park after being reported missing by his family.

At the time he went missing, family members reported seeing a van leaving the park.

Police were able to track down that van and the driver, which were eliminated from having anything to do with the disappearance of Amir.

Amir was later found by a diver in the park pond.

The Williamson County Coroner says the preliminary autopsy is consistent with drowning.

No foul play is suspected.
