Sansone Group at MCPS school board meeting

Retail developer Sansone Group made a presentation to the McCracken County Public Schools Board of Education Tuesday at noon. We have uploaded video of the full presentation above.

The St. Louis-based developer had previously proposed building a new shopping center on Hinkleville Road, about a half mile east of Kentucky Oaks Mall, but the plan was rejected by the McCracken County and Paducah city governments. The company's proposal to the city involved a tax increment financing, or TIF agreement with the city. At the time, Mayor Gayle Kaler said that's a deal breaker because, "We do not do retail incentives."

The company said Monday it would give the presentation in hopes that members of the public will support the project and take the issue to city and county leaders.
