Money awarded in civil lawsuit against Anita Roach

A decision has been made in the civil lawsuit against Anita Roach.

Donna Wilson sued Roach after a 2011 school bus crash that killed a six-year-old boy.

The jury decided in favor of Wilson, who was an aide on the bus at the time of the crash.

She was awarded $1.5 million in pain and suffering. Her medical bills, totaling more than $467,000, will also be paid by Roach.

There is no word yet on if Roach’s lawyers will appeal.
