Carbondale Greyhound to relocate

Greyhound Lines Inc. has announced it will start operations in a new location, the city of Carbondale, Illinois, announced Thursday.

Operations will start Friday at the new Carbondale Amtrak station at 401 S. Illinois Ave. The city noted that the location is less than two miles from the former location at 905 E. Main St.

Greyhound offers three daily schedules from the Carbondale Amtrak station, with destinations including Champaign, Illinois; Atlanta; and St. Louis. The location is only a bus stop, so tickets must be bought online.

For ticket information, call 1-800-231-2222. For information about Greyhound’s new service, call Ashley Sears at 214-849-6826.
